■ Brickcom NVR does not support SATA3, however a SATA3 HDD can still be installed in it.

■ Both SATA2 & SATA3 follow SATA interface. If a SATA3 HDD is used in Brickcom NVR, the HDD read/write performance will be the same as SATA2 HDD, because Brickcom NVR follows the specification of SATA2.

■ But actually the SATA2 HDD can do instant recording in Brickcom NVR without any problems. There is no need for users to select SATA3 HDDs, which cost higher.
